Yaassssssssss kweens. You know what day it is! 👑 👸 🎉 Do I love this part of my body? No, absolutely not. No matter how many times I talk about it, no matter how many people support me, its engrained in me to understand that "if you have cellulite, that part of your body is not good looking." And some people will read this and nod their head. I get it. But I also recognize that this is from social conditioning. IF YOU THINK for some reason that we are born with a natural distaste for certain body types then you are wrong. Let me give you this example: (This example slays btw) 🙏✨ If cellulite wasn't attractive because its inherently in our DNA, then we wouldn't also shame women for having body hair. Makes sense right? Body hair grows on us and yet we shave it off because smooth, white, young looking skin is more desirable than the other. But wait! It's in our primitive mind to look for mates who can survive, so why do we instinctively think that body hair on a woman is unattractive? Considering body hair is developed by biological evolution. BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN RAISED TO THINK THAT. This is called cultural programming. This has nothing to do with what our cavemen minds think is attractive. And if you've been following my youtube videos I have spoke that our psychology cannot exist without the influence of our culture or the sub cultures around you. That would be called living in a "cultural vacuum" and it doesn't exist. If you recognize this, it's much easier to step out of your body and understand it from a sociological perspective. You can learn so so much about yourself once you realize how our minds and bodies work!! 🙆💕🙆💕🙆 I am no exception to this, cellulite monster inside of me still reigns her ugly head sometimes, but I acknowledge that this is social conditioning and I will not bow down to it. I will try to love myself. Over and over again.❤️ No matter how uncomfortable it makes me, no matter how hard, not matter what anyone says: I am on a journey for self love and I WILL NOT STOP. 🙅🙌🚫 #cellulitesaturday #thisbody #embracethesquish Also lovelies! Pls actually tag me in your pics! If you just @ me, it gets lost. Sowwie 💕💕💕💕💕
Just some celluli-love from me and my girl 🐶💜 Remember that your thigh constellations are magical ✨ Remember that your belly rolls are beautiful 👙 Remember that all the 'flaws' you see when you look in the mirror are illusions — you've been tricked into seeing them that way so that people can profit from your self hatred. No seriously, cellulite wasn't even a 'condition' until someone realised they could sell a cure to it, it was (and still is), a normal variation of female flesh. So rock those polka dots with pride! Embrace that belly squish! Refuse to let anyone sell you shit (that doesn't work) to fix your body (that doesn't need fixing). You are flawless. 💜💙💚🌈🌞
There are two things I want to say today for #cellulitesaturday. 1. I believe in science. Science says cellulite ISNT an indication of health. It affects 90% of women. (The term "affects" bothers me because it's fucking NORMAL.) It is the APPEARANCE of fat cells. So if you have body fat % (like hi beautiful bikini competitors who comment on my photo who have really low body fat and raise their hand saying they still have it love u 🤗) YOURE STATISTICALLY PROLLY I MEAN MAYBE I MEAN THERES A GOOD OLE "FAT" CHANCE YA GONNA HAS IT. (See what I did there? 😭🙏) #ScienceOverBeautyCulture and I said this on twitter but cellulite creams ARE LIKE SKINNY TEAS. Give em the big middle finger cause we don't play w shit like that. And number 2. I bought these shorts in the summer time and you know what? After months of not tracking/ sorta failing intuitive eating/but having great successes with it as well they still fit. I dunno. It's weird but whatever, got me excited for cottage szn all over again 😂 I still wear stockings underneath them because I'm way too nervous to show this shit off mid summer but body love takes time. It takes baby steps. When I've hated myself for so long, success at self acceptance goes up and down. But hey that's life and I'm freakin okay with that. This summer I conquered wearing a crop top so, it's all a win. AND LASTLY. 60k?! Are you fucking kidding me???? I. LOVE. YOU. My day, my week my life is made. Thank you!!! #selflovejourney #loveyouguys
Adelante y amate a ti misma.
If she can have bits of cellulite SO CAN YOUUUUU 😍😍😍😍 90% of women have it. It isn't an indication of health, it is a cultural demand and expectation we put on women to have thin, smooth, light, young looking bodies. It isn't anything to be ashamed of. It isn't anything for you to hide. You can go ahead and love yourself now ☺️💞✨ #cellulitesaturday #cellfie #loveyourself #marilynmonroe #wasaboss
