BEIRUT (Sputnik) — Noura Al Matrooshi será la primera mujer astronauta en los Emiratos Árabes Unidos, declaró el primer ministro emiratí, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
"Anunciamos la primera mujer astronauta árabe (...) Felicitaciones a Noura Al Matrooshi", escribió el primer ministro en su cuenta de Twitter.

Señaló que Al Matrooshi, junto con otro astronauta Mohammed Al Mulla, fueron seleccionados de más de 4.000 candidatos al cuerpo de astronautas de los EAU.
